Cabbage Fry Recipe

A plant-based dish that is packed with flavor and TOTALLY salt-free! It's easy, quick, and healthy!

Ingredients

  • 3–4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 of a medium-sized green cabbage
  • 1 large baking potato
  • 1 (15 oz) can of lentils, drained and rinsed
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2-inch chunk of ginger, minced
  • 2 tsp OUR Blackened Spice
  • 2 tsp OUR Original Red Spice
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the onion, ginger, and garlic.
  2. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion, ginger, and garlic, and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  3. While the onion mixture is sautéing, wash the potato and dice it into bite-sized pieces. Add it to the pan and sauté for an additional 6-7 minutes.
  4. Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage, wash it, and chop 1/3 of the green cabbage.
  5. Add the chopped cabbage and rinsed lentils into the pan with the other ingredients.
  6. Stir in OUR spices and cook for another 7-8 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
  7. Serve garnished with chopped parsley, if desired.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
