Description
Indulge in the ultimate Crispy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich that’s both delicious and guilt-free! This restaurant-style sandwich features tender, spicy chicken breast, melted jalapeño cheese, and zesty ranch dressing, all piled high on a soft bun. Perfect for game day or a quick dinner, this recipe is sure to satisfy your cravings without the extra calories!
Ingredients
- 2 pounds of chicken breast
- 1 tablespoon light butter, melted and cooled
- 1/3 – 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon OUR Butt Kickin’ Buffalo seasoning
- 2 teaspoons OUR Nothin’ But Ranch seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup egg whites
- 64 grams Shake N Bake
- Light jalapeño string cheese
- 4 tablespoons Bolthouse Cucumber Ranch dressing
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce
- Tomato
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) or your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, melt the butter and mix in the hot sauce and 1 teaspoon of OUR Nothin’ But Ranch seasoning. Set aside.
- Pound the chicken breast to an even thickness. Pat dry and season with salt, black pepper, OUR Butt Kickin’ Buffalo seasoning, and OUR Nothin’ But Ranch.
- Lightly sift 1 tablespoon of cornstarch over both sides of the chicken.
- Dip each piece of chicken into the egg whites, then coat with Shake N Bake.
- Spray both sides of the chicken with avocado oil spray or cooking spray.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer or oven and cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (about 8-10 minutes).
- Top each chicken piece with shredded light jalapeño string cheese and return to the air fryer or oven until melted (about 1 minute).
- Drizzle with extra buffalo sauce and Bolthouse Cucumber Ranch dressing, then assemble your sandwich with desired toppings on the buns.
