Ingredients
- 1 lb ground 98-99% fat-free turkey or chicken
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp OUR Street Taco seasoning
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Hidden Valley ranch seasoning
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp OUR Green Zest
- 1 can (10 oz) Rotel tomatoes, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) canned black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup fat-free cheddar cheese, shredded
- Cooking spray
- Bread or bun of choice
- Toppings of choice (lettuce, tomato, avocado, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer or oven: Set to 390°F (200°C).
- Mix the ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey or chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, OUR Street Taco seasoning, ground cumin, paprika, ranch seasoning, cayenne pepper, OUR Green Zest, Rotel tomatoes, black beans, Greek yogurt, cheddar cheese, and chopped cilantro. Mix until just combined—avoid overmixing to keep the patties tender.
- Form the patties: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Prepare for cooking: Place the patties on a greased air fryer tray or basket. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
- Cook the patties: Air fry for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through and spraying the opposite side. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Melt the cheese: If desired, add cheese on top of the patties and return them to the air fryer for a couple of minutes to melt.
- Serve: Place the patties on your choice of bread or bun and add your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
